Wiper Blade SWF Das Original 131

The wiper blade SWF Das Original 131 is 650 mm long and boasts a frame assembly.
Built for every season, the 131 windshield wiper blade stands up to extreme weather and road salt to keep your view perfectly clear.

The replacement blade delivers a sturdy steel skeleton with articulated pressure points, crafted to provide even pressure distribution on complex windshield shapes. The synthetic EPDM wiping edge is securely bonded in a U-channel, delivering a consistent sweep across the arc. Refill-compatible design and broad vehicle fitment make it a cost-effective choice for older models. It features a durable galvanized frame that resists corrosion and mechanical wear, a multi-pivot action that adapts to complex windshield curves and a simple rubber refill system that extends service life while reducing total cost of ownership. However, exposed hinges may freeze and clog with dirt during winter, at high speeds it can experience wind lift and increased noise, and natural rubber wears faster in sunlight whereas polymer composites command a higher price. Periodically clean and lubricate the hinges with a silicone spray every three to six months and replace the wiping edge every six to twelve months (or every four to six months in harsh climates). Perfect for mild weather, daily commuting and economical drivers, this blade ensures dependable performance, clear visibility and lasting value at an affordable price.
