Wiper Blade Set Continental AquaCTRL 2 Set 12242

Description

Continental AquaCTRL 2 Set 12242 – frameless set of wipers, 550 mm + 500 mm for clear visibility.
With its weather-resistant design, the wiper blade set 12242 guarantees clear visibility from sub-zero temperatures to scorching heat.

The Continental 12242 set of wipers incorporates an asymmetric spoiler, built to provide superior visibility in high-speed scenarios.
An asymmetric spoiler is strategically positioned to channel airflow into focused windshield grip while reducing aerodynamic resistance, applying extra pressure to the wind-facing edge so the blade hugs the glass during gusty conditions. The result is a smudge-free wipe even in demanding high-speed scenarios.
Perfect for performance-driven drivers, this spoiler enhances stability for a smoother drive.

Frameless replacement blade delivers a streamlined flat spine, purpose-built to hold pinpoint wiping accuracy across multi-radius glass. A pre-curved spring-steel beam pairs with a advanced synthetic-rubber edge, producing a whisper-quiet glide. Its low-drag aero spoiler cuts lift at highway speed, while tool-free quick-click mount suits most makes and models for hassle-free fitting. The frameless build shrugs off snow and ice, eliminates corrosion points, and hugs modern glass shapes for superior visibility. Drawbacks: higher upfront cost, refill inserts are non-serviceable, plastic adapters may embrittle in severe cold, and clamping force declines slightly on very flat windshields. Rinse with pH-neutral soap every three months and replace every 12–24 months (6–12 months in extreme climates). Go beam, drive clear – get today.
