Wiper Blade SWF Das Original Trucks 551

This 550 mm wiper blade SWF Das Original Trucks 551 is constructed with a frame design.
551 – an year-round windshield wiper delivering crystal-clear vision in downpours, sleet, and heat for round-the-clock reliability.

The windshield wiper boasts a sturdy steel skeleton with multi-pivot joints, designed to guarantee precise downforce on complex windshield shapes. The natural rubber wiping edge is securely bonded in a U-channel, delivering a consistent sweep across the arc. Easy-to-replace refills and broad vehicle fitment make it a budget-friendly solution for older models. It delivers a durable galvanized frame that resists corrosion and mechanical wear, a multi-pivot action that adapts to complex windshield curves and a simple rubber refill system that extends service life while reducing total cost of ownership. However, exposed hinges may freeze and clog with dirt during winter, at high speeds it can experience wind lift and increased noise, and natural rubber wears faster in sunlight whereas polymer composites command a higher price. Periodically clean and lubricate the hinges with a silicone spray every three to six months and replace the wiping edge every six to twelve months (or every four to six months in harsh climates). Perfect for mild weather, daily commuting and economical drivers, this blade ensures dependable performance, clear visibility and lasting value at an affordable price.
