Truck Wiper Blade Valeo TIR TIR 550

Valeo TIR TIR 550 – truck wiper blade is 550 mm long and features a frame construction.
Designed for all-season performance, the TIR 550 windshield wiper ensures streak-free cleaning in any climate.

The replacement blade showcases a robust metal frame with flexible rocker arms, designed to guarantee precise downforce on complex windshield shapes. The high-grade polymer wiping edge is securely bonded in a U-channel, delivering a tight seal across the arc. User-friendly blade swaps and universal compatibility make it a budget-friendly solution for classic cars. It incorporates a durable galvanized frame that resists corrosion and mechanical wear, a multi-pivot action that adapts to complex windshield curves and a simple rubber refill system that extends service life while reducing total cost of ownership. However, exposed hinges may freeze and clog with dirt during winter, at high speeds it can experience wind lift and increased noise, and natural rubber wears faster in sunlight whereas polymer composites command a higher price. Periodically clean and lubricate the hinges with a silicone spray every three to six months and replace the wiping edge every six to twelve months (or every four to six months in harsh climates). Perfect for mild weather, daily commuting and economical drivers, this blade secures dependable performance, clear visibility and lasting value at an affordable price.
